When does it start working?

You need two doses of the vaccine. Each dose takes about two weeks to work. You will be fully protected around two weeks after your second injection.

Your second dose will be between 3 and 12 weeks apart. This is because the Government want more people to have a single dose instead of giving less people two doses quickly. As more vaccines arrive later in the year everyone will have their second doses.
